Dr. Tasmia Hai is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology (ECP) at McGill University's Faculty of Education. She specializes in neurodevelopmental disorders, ADHD, and executive functions, with a focus on structural MRI and learning disabilities. Her work also addresses mental health in immigrant and newcomer families.

Her research integrates neuroscience, developmental psychology, and inclusive education to understand the neurobiological underpinnings of ADHD and related disorders. She has explored the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on educational services for children with ADHD and investigated neurochemical correlates of executive functions.
Notable awards include the Healthy Brain Healthy Lives New Recruit Start-Up Supplement, Research Manitoba Health Research Postdoctoral Fellowship, and the Society of Biological Psychiatry Predoctoral Scholars Travel Fellowship.
Dr. Hai has clinical experience across Alberta and Ontario, including roles in hospitals, community agencies, and school boards. She is affiliated with the Cognition, Attention & Achievement Research (CAAR) Lab and has contributed to advocacy efforts through the Canadian Psychological Association and CADDRA.
