Prof. Tarık Esen is a faculty member at Koç University School of Medicine since 2011 and Head of the Department of Urology at American Hospital since 2002. He previously served as Deputy Dean at Koç University School of Medicine (2014-2017) and held academic positions at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine from 1990 to 2011, including promotion to Professor in 2000.

Clinical Expertise spans uro-oncology (bladder, prostate, kidney, testis, adrenal gland cancers), robotic/laparoscopic surgery, and urinary stone disease management via endoscopic techniques.
