Taraneh Sowlati is a Professor in the Department of Wood Science at the University of British Columbia (UBC) Faculty of Forestry. She currently serves as the Associate Dean of Research and Innovation at UBC Forestry. Her work focuses on forest bioproduction, technology innovation, and sustainable biomass supply chain management, with applications in the bioeconomy and environmental engineering.
