Tara Maroney is an Instructor of Physical Therapy at the School of Health Sciences, American International College. She holds a DPT in Physical Therapy from Sacred Heart University (2010) and a BS in Psychology from the same institution (2008). Her certifications include Geriatric Clinical Specialist and Certified Exercise Expert in Aging Adults. She is actively involved with the American Physical Therapy Association, serving as Chief Assembly Representative of the Western District and on the NEXT Planning Committee.
Her research interests focus on Geriatrics, Neuromuscular Disease, and Health and Wellness Advocacy. She teaches courses such as Neuromuscular Clinical Medicine, Pharmacology, and Neuromuscular Patient Management I & II. Her clinical expertise includes Inpatient Rehabilitation site coordination in Integrated Clinical Experiences.
