Tara Barboza

Tara Barboza is Associate Professor of Business Administration at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Specializing in taxation and accounting, she teaches courses including Financial Accounting, Federal Taxation, and Auditing. Prior to academia, she served as COO of Tarm Tax Services and Audit Chair at Landmark Credit Union.

Her professional recognitions include the 2020 Massachusetts Society of CPAs Outstanding Educator Award and 2021 MCLA Junior Faculty Award. Barboza coordinates MCLA's Entrepreneur Minor, advises the Accounting Club, and chairs the college's Audit and Finance Committee. She maintains CPA credentials and Enrolled Agent status with the U.S. Department of Treasury.
