Taotao Cai is a Senior Lecturer in Computing at the University of Southern Queensland's School of Mathematics, Physics and Computing. His research develops algorithms for graph data processing, social network analysis, and influence optimization.
He investigates dynamic network behaviors including influence propagation in evolving social systems and targeted advertising in spatial networks. His work applies machine learning to optimize community engagement in large-scale networks.
He leads courses in artificial intelligence, software engineering, and information retrieval. His AEA Ignite Grant funds renewable energy grid optimization using intelligent agents. He serves as reviewer for IEEE TKDE and ACM conferences.
