Dr. Tao Wan is a Lecturer at the School of Materials Science & Engineering at UNSW Sydney. His research focuses on developing energy-related technologies for flexible and wearable applications, with particular emphasis on energy harvesting from natural sources and sustainable electricity generation through material innovation.
Research interests include:
- Advanced material engineering for energy harvesting and storage
- Interface modification of nanomaterials
- Physicochemical property tuning of functional materials
- Moisture electric generators
- Self-powered wearable device development
Recent publications highlight cutting-edge developments in:
- MXene interface engineering
- Quantum dot and perovskite material combinations
