Tanzim Khan

Tanzim Khan, DPM, is a board-certified Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. He completed a residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at NYC Health + Hospitals: Coney Island Hospital and a fellowship in limb salvage at Keck Medical Center through the Southwest Academic Limb Salvage Alliance (SALSA).

• Expertise: Podiatric surgery, limb salvage, diabetic foot care, vascular collaboration

Dr. Khan specializes in interdisciplinary limb preservation for complex, high-risk patients, focusing on functional outcomes and activity-rich recovery. His research explores metrics like ulcer-free days, functional ambulatory status, and integrated care models, with publications in journals such as J Foot Ankle Res and J Vasc Surg.

He serves as a consultant for podiatric and vascular surgical teams, combining clinical practice with research to optimize limb salvage protocols. Dr. Khan is fluent in English and Bengali.
