Tanya Vaslieva Pancheva

Assoc. Prof. PhD Tanya Vaslieva Pancheva is an Associate Professor at the University of Forestry, Faculty of Business Management. She teaches English language for students in Engineering Design (Interior and Furniture Design), Wood Technology, and Veterinary Medicine specialities. Her research focuses on interdisciplinary approaches to foreign language training for technical disciplines.

• Graduated from Yaroslavl University, Russia (1983) with a degree in English Philology
• Joined University of Forestry as Senior Lecturer in 1995
• Obtained PhD in 2014 with thesis on "Interactive Learning Environment for Engineering and Technical Specialities and Foreign Language Training"

Her work explores the integration of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in language education, with particular emphasis on English for Specific Purposes (ESP) methodology tailored for engineering and technical fields. She contributes to developing interdisciplinary frameworks that combine language learning with professional competencies.
