Tanya Decheva

Tanya Decheva is an academic affiliated with the National Academy of Dramatic Arts and Film 'Kr. Sarafov' as an Assistant Professor in Photography under the Faculty of Screen Arts and Department of Production and Post-Production. She also teaches Screen Graphics in the Poster and Visual Communication major at the National Academy of Arts since 2021.

Research interests span photography aesthetics, digital technologies, internet-based art, screen graphics, and visual communication. Her creative work includes photo books like 'Nothing Personal' and 'Something Else' and exhibitions such as 'Microlandscapes' and '25x25.'

Tanya has contributed to professional projects, including digitizing the Ivan Vazov National Theater archive (2014–2017), filming theater productions, and serving as a photographer for festivals like One Dance Week. She has published in NT magazine and engages in academic teaching and research activities.
