Tanja Woyke

Tanja Woyke serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Life and Environmental Sciences department at UC Merced. Her primary research affiliation is with the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory's DOE Joint Genome Institute, where she leads studies in environmental genomics and microbial systems biology. Woyke's work bridges genomic technologies and ecosystem science to understand microbial communities in diverse environments.
