Tania Manríquez Roa is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Zurich's Institute of Biomedical Ethics (IBME), specializing in contemporary ethical challenges in global health and research ethics. She serves as Academic Coordinator for the Forum for Global Health Ethics (since 2019) and Scientific Coordinator of the Centre for Medical Humanities (since 2024).

Tania’s publications emphasize health equity in pandemic triage guidelines, COVAX-related vaccine distribution challenges, and ethical AI integration in healthcare. She critiques opaque algorithms in mental health apps and advocates for context-sensitive ethical frameworks.
