Tania Kaiser is Senior Lecturer in Forced Migration Studies at SOAS. Her research examines protracted refugee situations, humanitarian protection systems, and gender dimensions of displacement. Fieldwork includes longitudinal studies with Sudanese refugees in Uganda and consultancy for judicial reforms.
PhD students research: work experiences in Sudan, local-international humanitarian dichotomies, and masculinity representations in Syrian refugee communities. Kaiser's work informs policy through engagements like the Washington State Supreme Court symposium on jury diversity.
