Dr Tania Davies serves as Deputy Senior Tutor for Welfare and Wellbeing at Wolfson College, University of Cambridge. She is a Visiting Researcher at the Autism Research Centre and part of the research team at the Institute of Public Health, both within Cambridge University.

Research Interests:
Tania Davies is a social research scientist whose work centers on wellbeing within policy contexts and psychopathological disorders. Her research specifically examines wellbeing functions of people living with autism and suicidality and self-harm in children and young adults. She has extensively studied mental health provision in the armed forces and emerging issues within criminal justice, with a strong focus on equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) initiatives.
Her work bridges the gap between social policy and health outcomes, particularly in how policy frameworks impact vulnerable populations including care-experienced students, young offenders, and military personnel.

Research Teams and Collaborations:
Dr Davies is actively involved with multiple research teams including the Autism Research Centre at Cambridge University, focusing on wellbeing functions in autistic individuals. She is also part of the Institute of Public Health research team investigating suicidality and self-harm in young populations. Previously, she worked with the Military Education for Wales, Research Centre of Expertise Cymru, and Higher Education for Future Generations Group.
