Tamra Loeb is an Associate Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Her research focuses on the intersection of trauma, health disparities, and HIV care among marginalized populations, particularly Black and Latinx communities. Dr. Loeb has maintained a productive research career spanning over two decades with consistent publication output.

Dr. Loeb has received NIH funding for her research on "Child Abuse, HIV Risks and Reproductive Outcomes" (R03MH071154, 2004-2007), where she served as Principal Investigator. Her collaborative work extends across multiple institutions within the University of California system, with frequent co-authorship with researchers such as Gail Wyatt, Alison Hamilton, and Arleen Brown.
