E. Tamar Katz is an Associate Professor of English at Brown University with a courtesy appointment in the Urban Studies Program. Her research focuses on 20th-century literature, modernism, urban studies, gender studies, and temporality. She holds a PhD from Cornell University (1992) and has received notable awards including the Bronson Fellowship and Guilford Essay Prize.
