Dr. Tamar H. Taddei is Professor of Medicine (Digestive Diseases) at Yale School of Medicine and Chief of Gastroenterology at VA Connecticut Healthcare System. She also serves as Vice Chief of Faculty Development in the Digestive Diseases section at Yale. Her work spans clinical care, research, and education with a focus on liver diseases and cancer.
Dr. Taddei directs the Liver Cancer Program at VA Connecticut Healthcare System and founded a VA regional tumor board serving Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Vermont. She is actively involved with the Yale Cancer Center and multiple research programs including Cancer Prevention and Control.

Her recent publications demonstrate strong activity in liver cancer risk prediction, outcomes in cirrhosis, steatotic liver disease, and hepatocellular carcinoma.
