Tamar Cohen-Hillel is an Assistant Professor in the Operations and Logistics Division at the UBC Sauder School of Business. She holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Her research focuses on Retail Operations Management, Logistics, Dynamic Pricing, and Consumer Behavior Modeling. She explores topics such as promotion targeting, demand forecasting, and the application of machine learning in retail analytics.
Her recent publications address challenges like cannibalization effects in retail, optimization of promotion policies, and bounded memory demand models. These works bridge theoretical insights with practical applications in supply chain and consumer decision-making.
