Professor Talia Isaacs is a leading academic in Applied Linguistics and TESOL at University College London's Faculty of Education & Society. She serves as Head of Research and Inclusion Co-Lead in the Department of Culture, Communication and Media, with a focus on language assessment, health communication, and educational equity. Previously, she was an Associate Professor at UCL-IOE (2016–2024) and Lecturer/Senior Lecturer at Bristol University (2011–2016), where she founded the EU-funded Second Language Speech Lab.
