Tali Dekel is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Weizmann Institute of Science and a Staff Research Scientist at Google DeepMind. She previously held a postdoctoral position at MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) under Prof. Bill Freeman.
- Education: Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Tel-Aviv University (supervised by Prof. Shai Avidan and Prof. Yael Moses).
Her research focuses on computer vision and computational imaging, particularly in areas including image/video analysis, multi-view systems, 3D structure and motion estimation, and image synthesis/rendering techniques.
Dekel maintains affiliations with both the Weizmann Institute of Science and Google DeepMind, reflecting her dual commitment to academic research and industry innovation.
