Tabitha Kung

Dr. Tabitha Kung is an Assistant Professor at Queen's University. She completed her Bachelor of Science at McMaster University and MD training at the University of Toronto. A Queen’s alumna, she undertook internal medicine training there and a Rheumatology fellowship at the University of Toronto. She holds a Master’s in Public Health (Genetic Epidemiology) and was part of the CIHR STAGE Program. Her research focuses on early detection and management of rheumatoid arthritis, medical education, and musculoskeletal ultrasound in rheumatology.

Her work emphasizes early inflammatory arthritis, precision diagnostics, and clinical training. She is certified in point-of-care musculoskeletal ultrasound via the Canadian Rheumatology Ultrasound Society (CRUS). Her interests bridge clinical practice and public health, particularly in genetic factors influencing rheumatological conditions.
