TUĞBA TAŞKIN TOK

TUĞBA TAŞKIN TOK is a Professor at Gaziantep University, Faculty of Science and Letters, Department of Chemistry. She holds a PhD in Chemistry from Hacettepe University (2010) and has been actively involved in academic roles since 2004.

• Education: PhD in Chemistry (Hacettepe University, 2010), Master's in Chemistry (Hacettepe University, 2006), Licence in Chemistry (Hacettepe University, 2003).
• Research Interests: Organic chemistry, biochemistry, enzyme inhibition, drug design, computational methods, and green chemistry. Her work focuses on synthesizing bioactive compounds for metabolic enzyme inhibition, anticancer agents, and molecular docking studies.
• Publications: Over 155 articles in journals like Journal of Molecular Structure, Journal of Fluorescence, and Applied Organometallic Chemistry, with a strong emphasis on SARS-CoV-2, cancer therapies, and Alzheimer's disease.
• Collaborations: Co-author on interdisciplinary studies with researchers in pharmacology, bioinformatics, and material science.
