TRIANA BLANCO PINTOS

TRIANA BLANCO PINTOS is a Research Fellow (Postdoctoral researcher) at the University of Santiago de Compostela's Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, affiliated with the Department of Surgery and Medical-Surgical Specialties. She conducts research within the Oral Sciences Research Group (OSRG), focusing on stomatology and periodontal disease diagnostics.

Education:
Earned her Ph.D. in 2023 from the University of Santiago de Compostela with the dissertation: "Identification of New Molecular Biomarkers with High Diagnostic Accuracy to Detect Untreated Periodontitis and its Response to Treatment" under the supervision of Dr. Immaculate Tomás Carmona and Dr. Manuela Alonso Sampedro.
