TAKASU Akinori

Professor Akinori Takasu is a distinguished faculty member at Nagoya Institute of Technology's Department of Life and Applied Chemistry within the Faculty of Engineering. His research focuses on sustainable polymer chemistry with particular expertise in biodegradable materials, carbohydrate-based polymers, and innovative synthesis techniques. With a Doctorate in Agriculture from Nagoya University, he has established himself as a leader in green polymer synthesis and advanced materials design.

His research interests span polymer chemistry, nanotechnology, and materials science with specializations in biodegradable polymers, click chemistry, cyclic polymers, and biomass-derived materials.
