T. R. Lewis

T. R. Lewis, MD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC). He specializes in Pediatric Orthopedics with expertise in spinal deformity, pediatric trauma, hip surgery, and limb deformity correction. He joined The Children’s Hospital at OU Medical Center in 2010 and became an associate professor in 2020.

Research/Practice Focus: Dedicated to advancing pediatric surgical care, particularly in hip preservation for adolescents, spinal deformity correction, and complex trauma management. His international experience includes a sabbatical in Nicaragua (2016-2017), where he contributed to public healthcare and cultural exchange.
