T. G. Nagaraja is a University Distinguished Professor of Microbiology at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Kansas State University. He earned a BVSc (1970) and MVSc (1972) from Mysore Veterinary College, India, and a PhD in Microbiology (1977) from Kansas State University. His teaching spans Veterinary Bacteriology, Rumen Metabolism, and Ruminant Digestive Physiology, with a focus on gut microbiology and preharvest food safety.
