T. Andrew Windsor

T. Andrew Windsor is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where he has been on faculty since 2013. A lifelong Baltimorean, he provides medical care to his local community while focusing on emergency ultrasound, echocardiography, diagnostic imaging, and medical education.

Dr. Windsor is certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers and serves as course director for an ultrasound-guided vascular access course for medical students. His research interests include patient safety, opioid addiction, and quality improvement initiatives in emergency care.

Publications highlight his expertise in trauma imaging, subarachnoid hemorrhage diagnostics, and the opioid epidemic. He has lectured extensively on emergency ultrasound and echocardiography at national/regional courses, emphasizing education and clinical innovation.
