Prof. Dr. Sibel Demir Kanmazalp, a faculty member at Gaziantep University, is a leading researcher in computational chemistry, structural chemistry, and quantum chemical studies. She currently serves as a Professor in the Electronic and Automation Department at Nacı Topçuoğlu Vocational School.

- Postdoctoral Researcher (2017–2018), Gebze Technical University
- Research Interests: Crystal structure analysis, DFT calculations, Hirshfeld surface studies, molecular docking, and spectroscopic investigations.
Her recent publications focus on supramolecular chemistry, metal complexes, and nonlinear optical properties. Over the past decade, she has contributed to 49 peer-reviewed articles and three book chapters.
- Scientific Awards: TÜBİTAK Yayın Teşvik Ödülü (2019), Best Presentation Award (2016), and multiple university-level and national publication awards.
- She has advised a master's student and participated in interdisciplinary research projects involving crystallography and theoretical modeling.
