Sören Totzauer

Sören Totzauer is a Lecturer (Lehrkraft für besondere Aufgaben) at the Faculty of Digital Transformation at HTWK Leipzig, where he teaches courses in computer science, including Algorithms and Data Structures, Database Management Systems, and Big Data Management. He serves as Deputy Liaison Lecturer and is a member of the IKM study commission, actively contributing to academic governance and curriculum development.

His research interests span Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Internet of Things (IoT), Participatory Design, E-Learning, and Game Theory. His work emphasizes user-centered and ethical approaches to technology design, particularly in domestic environments.
