Dr. Szymon Jellonek is affiliated with the University of Warsaw as a member of the Department of Numismatics and Museum Studies under the Faculty of Archaeology. His work focuses on ancient numismatic systems and historical processes of Romanization and colonization.

- Provincial Roman coinage
- Romanization dynamics
- Roman colonial practices
