Dr Szilvia Mosonyi is a Senior Lecturer in Responsible Leadership at Queen Mary University of London's School of Business and Management, co-directing the Organisation Studies Research Group. She holds a PhD from Bayes Business School (City, University of London) and leads operations at ETHOS, the Centre for Responsible Enterprise. Her expertise bridges corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainability consulting, and responsible investment, with a focus on professionalization dynamics in emerging fields.
Education includes an MRes from Bayes Business School, an MA in CSR from Nottingham University Business School, and an MA in Sociology from Eotvos Lorand University. Prior to academia, she spent seven years as a CSR consultant at Deloitte, advising multinational corporations.
Research interests center on CSR/sustainability professionalization, paradoxes in consulting practice, and responsible investment frameworks. Current projects examine the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI)'s institutional evolution and deliberative governance practices. She also investigates client-consultant relationships and methodological innovations in literature review.
Awarded the 'Best Reviewer Award 2020' by Business & Society, she actively engages with practitioners through projects like the ILO's CSR workplace impact review and PRI advisory roles. Teaches Responsible Leadership and Corporate Social Responsibility and Business Ethics modules.
Supervises doctoral research on knowledge management in tax administration (institutional perspective). Serves as PRME coordinator for her school and organizes the London-Southeast England PRME Chapter network.
