Sylvie Campion

Sylvie Campion is a Senior University Language Teacher in the Department of French at University College Cork (UCC). She holds qualifications including Lic.ès Lettres (Rennes), MA (NUI), PGCert in Advising for Language Learning (Hull), and Cert. in Digital Education (UCC). Her roles include Teaching & Learning Officer (2014-2016) and membership on the CACSSS Teaching and Learning Committee (2013-2016). She convenes the BEdGaeilge degree program for the French Department and manages the French Department Website.

Professionally, she focuses on learner autonomy, integration of ICT in language pedagogy, European language policy, and extensive reading methodologies. She coordinates courses like FR2109 Tandem Learning for Teaching and FR4101 Advanced Use of French (oral component).
