Dr. Sylvia Bhattacharya is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering & Technology at Kennesaw State University (KSU), where she directs the Neuro-Interaction Innovation Laboratory. She also serves as the Interim Scientific Director of the Cyber Physical Realms Research Center (CYPHR) at KSU's Office of Research. Her research examines how human intuitive decision-making in complex environments can improve artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms, particularly in battlefield scenarios funded by the U.S. Army.

Dr. Bhattacharya is dedicated to advancing diversity in computing and engineering through mentorship programs like Google's Computing to Change the World. Her work bridges human-autonomy teaming, robotics, and machine learning, with over $1 million in research funding secured since 2019.
