Sweta Agrawal

Sweta Agrawal is an Assistant Professor at the School of Neuroscience, College of Science, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She earned her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Washington. Her research focuses on the neural circuits underlying proprioception and motor control using Drosophila melanogaster as a model system.

• Research Interests: Proprioception, sensory feedback, motor coordination, neural circuits, comparative morphology, computational modeling.
• Techniques: Quantitative behavior, optogenetics, in vivo electrophysiology, 2-photon imaging, EM-based circuit reconstruction.
