Swathi Reddy

Swathi Reddy, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Division of Rheumatic Diseases. She is also a staff physician at the Dallas VA Medical Center. Her clinical focus includes musculoskeletal ultrasound, and she is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in rheumatology and the American College of Rheumatology in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Certification in Rheumatology.

Dr. Reddy earned her bachelor’s degree cum laude in medical science and economics from Boston University, followed by her medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center and a rheumatology fellowship at UT Southwestern, joining its faculty in 2012.

Her research centers on improving care for patients with rheumatic diseases, resulting in peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations. She actively participates in teaching medical students and residents across clinical and didactic settings. Professional affiliations include membership in the American College of Rheumatology.
