Svitlana Andronik

Svitlana Andronik serves as a Research Associate in the Department of Nursing and Management at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, actively contributing to the SeRAH (Strengthening Ethical Reflection in Elderly Care) research and transfer project. This initiative develops location- and time-independent online training for staff in inpatient elderly care facilities to advance ethical decision-making competencies.

Her research centers on ethical frameworks in geriatric care, with emphasis on palliative approaches and practical implementation in care settings. Key interests include bridging theoretical ethics with frontline healthcare challenges, developing scalable training methodologies for ethical reflection, and strengthening palliative geriatrics infrastructure in the Hamburg region through competency-based education.

The SeRAH project represents her primary current engagement, focusing on creating accessible digital training resources to address critical gaps in ethical decision-making among elderly care professionals.
