معرفی
Sverre Grødem is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Biosciences, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Oslo. His work is affiliated with the Cortical Circuits Group, focusing on physiological and molecular aspects of neuronal function.
Research Interests:
Grødem's research spans neuroscience, molecular biology, and computational neuroscience, with a focus on perineuronal nets, parvalbumin-positive (PV+) neurons, calcium imaging techniques, and cortical circuit dynamics. His studies investigate how extracellular matrix structures regulate neuronal activity and memory consolidation.
Publications Overview:
His recent work (2023-2025) emphasizes PV+ neuron function and perineuronal net degradation in pathological contexts, while earlier research (2018) explored structural properties of the ARC protein implicated in synaptic plasticity.
Teaching:
He has instructed courses including MBV-INF4410, BIOS1130, BIOS1120, BIOS1110, BIOS1100, and BIOS3010 at the University of Oslo.
