Svenja Kristina Damm is a researcher in Egyptology and cultural history of Northeast Africa, currently affiliated with Humboldt University of Berlin as a Doctorate and Research Associate in Project B03 of the Collaborative Research Center 1412. She holds an MA and BA in Egyptology from the University of Leipzig.

- Research Associate in "Register Knowledge in Ancient Egypt" project at Humboldt University (since 07/2024)
- Former Research Assistant at Saxon Academy of Sciences and Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences (2022–2024)
Research interests focus on:
- Linguistic registers in ancient Egyptian
- Narration and spatial conception in historical texts
- Rhetorical stylistics in ancient literature
- Cultural-historical significance of natural phenomena
- Multimodal approaches in Egyptology
Publications include a 2024 study on Ramesside folk tales and didactic literature.
