Prof. Svenja Caspers is a Professor and Working Group Leader of the 'Connectivity' research group at the Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine (INM-1) within the Research Center Jülich, Germany. Her research focuses on understanding the structural and functional organization of the brain, particularly in the area of brain connectivity and neuroimaging. She leads a team exploring how brain networks contribute to cognitive functions and neurological conditions, leveraging advanced imaging techniques and computational methods.
Prof. Caspers' academic background includes dual doctorates in medicine (Dr. med.) and political science (Dr. rer. pol.), reflecting her interdisciplinary approach to neuroscience.
