Sven Nyholm

Sven Nyholm is a Professor of the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU Munich). He holds a PhD from the University of Michigan (2012) and authored the book This is Technology Ethics: An Introduction (Wiley-Blackwell, 2023). His research focuses on ethical issues related to artificial intelligence and technology, bridging moral philosophy with applied ethics.

As an affiliate member of 4TU.Ethics & Technology, he contributes to interdisciplinary research and education initiatives, including the PSTS MSc program and PhD Graduate School. He also participates in knowledge exchange with industry, policymakers, and civil society organizations through platforms like the Simon Stevin Series and 4TU.ResearchData.
