Suzanne van Aswegen is a Lecturer/Researcher at AMSIB (part of the CEDIS academic unit). Her research focuses on social isolation, career development, and crisis contexts, particularly in South African frameworks. She has contributed to conceptual models analyzing the impact of social isolation on women's adjustment and career trajectories.
Her work bridges psychology and social sciences, emphasizing multiplex societal challenges. In 2023, she co-authored a seminal article in Career Development International.
Van Aswegen was part of a 2021-2022 COIL Coordination educational initiative, fostering international collaboration in higher education. She received the Virtueel Internationaal Samenwerkingsproject hoger onderwijs award in 2022 for her contributions to educational redesign.
