Suzanne Mathew is an Associate Professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), where she teaches courses integrating artistic, theoretical, and scientific methods to develop rigorous design approaches. As a registered landscape architect, she bridges academic practice with real-world applications in environmental design.

Mathew's research pioneers methodologies for measuring and visualizing invisible temporal dimensions in landscapes, employing tools to document environmental phenomena like light, temperature, and sound.
