Suzanne Fitzpatrick is Professor of Housing and Social Policy at Heriot-Watt University, where she directs the Institute for Social Policy, Housing and Equalities Research. She serves as Poverty Commissioner for Scotland and advises governments on homelessness policy.
Her research analyzes housing exclusion, homelessness systems, and welfare policy impacts. Major projects include the UK Homelessness Monitor series and studies on destitution and racial inequalities in housing access.
