Suzanne B Sandmeyer

Suzanne B. Sandmeyer is a Professor in the Department of Biological Chemistry at the UCI School of Medicine, and Director of the Genomics Research & Technology Hub. Her research focuses on retrotransposon genetics in Saccharomyces cerevisiae, particularly the Ty3 element’s integration patterns into tRNA gene loci. She investigates interactions between retroelements and RNA polymerase III transcription machinery.
