Suz Rock is a full-time Lecturer and Researcher in Criminology at the School of Arts and Humanities, Edith Cowan University. She teaches units like Criminology (CRI1103), Youth Justice (CRI2202), Professional Ethics (CRI3206), Understanding Cybercrimes (CRI6420), and Victims of Crime (CRI6415). Suz also leads CrimConnect Postgrad, an inter-university support group for postgraduate and early career researchers in Criminology.

Her research focuses on youth justice, therapeutic jurisprudence, public perceptions of criminal justice, and qualitative research methods. She collaborates closely with industry partners like the Department of Justice, WA Police, and the Commissioner for the Victims of Crime.
Based on her recent publications, Suz’s work spans topics such as youth justice systems, criminal behavior analysis, therapeutic interventions in courts, and policy evaluation. Her studies often employ qualitative methods to explore procedural barriers and public attitudes toward criminal justice processes.

As an HDR supervisor, Suz has guided research on coercive control, treatment effectiveness for Indigenous sex offenders, women's imprisonment, and rehabilitation programs. Her recent grants include projects like Kids, Courts and Canines and Drug Use Monitoring in Australia.
She works with the Forensic Interview Team and collaborates with institutions like Simon Fraser University and WA Council of Social Service. Her research bridges courts, therapeutic jurisprudence, and criminal justice innovation.
