Suyash Mohan

Suyash Mohan, MD, is an Associate Professor of Radiology and Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. He is a physician-scientist actively engaged in neuro-oncologic imaging research, clinical innovation, and global health education. His work bridges advanced neuroimaging, computational modeling, and multidisciplinary collaboration to improve outcomes in brain tumor patients.

Dr. Mohan's research focuses on clinical and translational applications of advanced neuroimaging, particularly in developing non-invasive biomarkers for brain tumor metabolism and therapy response. His current NIH/NCI-funded R01 clinical trial (CA262584-01) integrates metabolic imaging with computational models and industry partnerships to transform brain tumor treatment. He has a strong interest in health disparities, health equity, and international medical education, demonstrated through outreach programs in South Africa, Kazakhstan, and Brazil.

His recent publications highlight a consistent focus on neuro-oncology, neuroimaging diagnostics, radiation effects, and global neuro-radiology. The work spans glioblastoma progression, post-radiation brain changes, and neuro-COVID imaging, employing MRI, CT, and advanced metabolic techniques. These studies reflect a deep commitment to precision imaging and clinical translation.

Dr. Mohan has received numerous accolades, including:
