Susie Greene

Susie Greene serves as Executive in Residence and Professor of the Practice at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Shuford Program in Entrepreneurship, where she teaches ECON 125: Introduction to Entrepreneurship. She simultaneously leads SPG Associates, a consulting firm she founded over 20 years ago, providing strategic planning and innovation expertise to private, public, and non-profit sector clients.

Her educational background includes a BA in Business from Arizona State University and an MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business, where she received the Robert Strauss Marketing Award and Fellowship and a specialization in Design Thinking. Greene's research and teaching focus on experiential entrepreneurship education, emphasizing venture ideation, resource optimization, team leadership, and navigating uncertainty through iterative learning.

She actively applies her expertise in strategic agility and design thinking to help organizations transform uncertainty into opportunity. Her professional recognition includes the Robert Strauss Marketing Award and Fellowship from Darden. Beyond academia, Greene serves on the Board and Executive Committee of United Way of the Greater Triangle and previously held leadership roles at the Chapel Hill Carrboro YMCA, reflecting her commitment to community impact through strategic philanthropy.
