Susanne Marschall is a Professor of Media Studies (focus: audiovisual media, film and television) at the University of Tübingen, where she also serves as Director of the Center for Media Literacy and editor of the open journal "Colour Turn". Her research bridges historical hermeneutics, media culture, and interdisciplinary studies of color and visual perception, with a strong empirical focus on film, television, and photography.
