Susanne Lattke

Susanne Lattke is a Scientific Associate at the German Institute for Adult Education (DIE), part of the Leibniz Association, within the department of Teaching, Learning, Consulting. She has served as a Co-Convenor of the ESREA Research Network for Adult Educators (ReNAdET) since 2020 and is a Managing Director of the European Society for Research on the Education of Adults (ESREA) since 2023.

Her research focuses on competencies and professional development of adult educators, EU education policy, and the internationalization of adult education. She contributes to developing frameworks like Curriculum globALE and analyzing how adult education centers promote democratic learning.

Her recent publications address resilience in educators during crises, AI in adult education, and comparative studies of European and global adult learning systems. She collaborates with institutions like UNESCO, DVV International, and De Gruyter.
