Susanne C. Brenner

Susanne C. Brenner is a Boyd Professor at Louisiana State University, holding a joint appointment between the Department of Mathematics and the Center for Computation & Technology (CCT). She has served as Associate Director for Academic Affairs at CCT since 2008. Brenner's research focuses on numerical analysis, scientific computing, and computational methods across mechanics, electromagnetics, and PDEs. She has held leadership roles including President of SIAM (2021-2022), and has been recognized with prestigious awards such as the Humboldt Research Award and SIAM Fellowship.

• Editorial Roles: Managing Editor of Mathematics of Computation, Editor-in-Chief of SIAM Classics in Applied Mathematics, and member of editorial boards for SIAM Journal on Numerical Analysis, Numerische Mathematik, and others.
